Prosthetics

Dental prosthetics fully covers all clinical situations that may arise due to missing teeth, taking benefit of a laboratory with modern technical equipment and the use of the latest materials, such as CAD/CAM Cerec System, that helps placing ceramic restorations in just one appointment.

The CAD/CAM Cerec

Is a technology that involves preparing ceramic restorations directly in the practice, while the patient is on the dental chair. In this way, patients benefit from time saving, accuracy, biocompatible restorations, superior aesthetics, durability, being a minimally invasive procedure, which saves more tooth structure than the conservative preparation.

protetica 1

Porcelain and Zirconium dental crowns

protetica 2Cover the entire surface of a tooth, being made when fractures or cavities have destroyed the tooth surface, which cannot be reconstructed by applying fillings.

Crowns are indicated consecutively to root canal treatments, they are restoring the function and appearance of the tooth.

Dental bridges

protetica 3They are treatment methods used to replace one or more missing teeth when free space is bordered on both sides of the teeth.

The area left by a missing tooth can become dangerous for oral health because it can change the incline of adjacent teeth, it can lead to bite problems or speech disorders.

Dental bridges help alleviate these problems by using the surrounding teeth as support to place an artificial tooth.

There are used two types of dental bridges: traditional fixed bridges, in which ceramic crowns are placed in the missing teeth area, supported by the neighboring teeth, and dental bridges with extension applied when there are teeth on only one side of the blank space, in areas with low masticatory forces, such as front teeth.

Removable dentures

protetica 4They are divided into partial or complete dentures.

Partial dentures are attached to the existing teeth arches, being detachable restorations.

They restore the function of speech, chewing and aesthetic functions altered by lack of teeth. Dentures are made when there are no currently tooth arches.

They rely on support from soft tissue to stabilize or on the insertion of implants.

Skeletal prosthesis

protetica 5Is an effective method for the rehabilitation of edentulous spaces.

This includes a fixed part that attaches to the remaining teeth, and a removable part, which will adhere to the set.

Skeletal prosthesis is also stable during speech and chewing, but it can be removed for the hygiene of the oral cavity..

Testimonials

“In the past, I had a real anxiety about dental treatments. This is the cause I neglected teeth care due to fear of pain and discomfort, but after a visit at Biodent Professional, I realized that I had no reason to fear. The procedure was relaxing and comfortable; I almost forgot why I was there. I will need a complex treatment in the future and I’ll return with confidence every time.”

Marin C.

“I was very excited about the first visit, so I’ve decided to continue my treatment at this clinic. First of all, the location is easy to find, the reception staff welcoming and polite, and the doctors are working in a careful and painless manner. I highly recommend it to my friends and family.”

Orthodontics in our Facility

Orthodontics is the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of incorrect positions of teeth and jaw bones. Orthodontic therapy is targeting the detection of bad habits or incorrect positioning of the teeth to ensure an optimal health and aesthetic. Braces are used, applied on teeth to ensure harmonious development of maxillary apparatus. As the diagnosis is occurring earlier, so the treatment has a greater success rate.

Oral Implantology

Implants are made of biocompatible materials (Titanium or Zirconia) inserted into the alveolar bone to replace missing teeth. They serve as an anchor for dental crowns. They can replace one or more missing teeth, or they can stabilise existing removable dentures. The implants look like natural teeth, they have an increased resistance, while being very stable and comfortable compared to traditional alternatives. Complex regenerative procedures are available, to compensate for bone or soft tissue loss, growth factors that promote healing are used as well.
